The miner wagon automatically harvests adjacent resources that are sideways to its position. When powered by iron, it will periodically launch two shockwaves outward – one to each side of the wagon – which damage all trees and rocks in their way, up to a set, upgradeable distance. Aesthetic particles jump up from and then fall back down to the ground during the shockwaves. Its gears will also turn when it is powered.

Because it only cuts to the sides, not to the front, you still need to build a two-tile path forward (one for the train tracks and another for worker movement), but it can be very effective when the train has traveled into a resource-dense path. If it hasn't been upgraded yet, you may like to try to set the track as close to harvestable resources as possible to maximize its efficiency. It can also be positioned to cut paths through dense resources to reach distant bolts on the map more efficiently.

Mining shockwaves can travel diagonally as the train turns on its tracks.

Warnings
Because of the reach of the mining shockwave, the wagon may unintentionally free robbers or animals who were otherwise unreachable, so timing when to power it with iron can be critical.
If you complete the mission given to you at the start of the new stage, you will get a bolt. The last bolt is always hidden somewhere in the stage.

The bolts can be used for various upgrades to your train. You can either upgrade an already existing wagon to perform better. You can buy a new wagon that can fulfill another task or you can upgrade your engine. Upgrading your engine will slow down the train and will allow you to move into a new biome.
Special (orange) bolts are available only once per biome and count as two regular bolts. They are furthermore necessary to unlock the final engine.

The buckinator wagon is a dock that charges the bucket and gives it special powers. To charge the bucket it needs to be picked up and placed into the Buckinator. A charged bucket can empower players characters and supercharge dynamite. The charged bucket's effects work in its effective radius once it is removed from the Buckinator. However, as soon as the charged bucket is picked up, the bucket's charge starts depleting and eventually becomes a regular bucket unless recharged by again placing it into the Buckinator.

Dynamite can be supercharged one level higher with a charged bucket. Inside a charged bucket's effect radius, a dynamite will supercharge once it is dropped to the ground.

Empowered player characters can mine/chop iron/wood in one hit and pick up ten resources at once mimicking the Milk Wagon Cow and Camel milk effects. The empowered effects persist as long as the empowered character is within range of the charged bucket. Once the empowered effects end, default resource harvesting speed and carrying capacity take over. This means that if an empowered player character is carrying ten resources, but moves outside the charged bucket's range, she automatically drops seven resources to the nearest available spot when possible and continues carrying the default three resources.

The Milk Wagon milk and the Buckinator resource harvesting and carrying capacity effects stack with each other. Drinking milk with Cow effect and being inside a charged bucket's effect range empowers a player character to mine/cut stone and wood in one hit regardless whether the wielded tool is an axe or a pick-axe. Drinking milk with camel effect and being inside a charged bucket's effect range empowers a player character's carrying capacity to 24 resources.
The ghost wagon allows the players to walk through it so that they don't have to go around the train. This can be especially helpful on maps with less spare spaces. Upgrading the ghost wagon will make the wagons next to it also have the ghostly effects, and furthermore if upgraded again.

Note: In the current version, the train engine is no longer affected by the ghost wagon. You still need to plan the track route in consideration of being blocked by the engine.
