Overview
Unrailed 2: Back on Track is in development and available for purchase as Steam Early Access title on November 7, 2024. There was an Open Beta on the weekend from September 20th to 23rd 2023 which is no longer open.
Differences of Unrailed 2 to Unrailed 1
- A new endless mode offering permanent biome progression.
- Player abilities (permanent ones as well as additional during a run).
- Junctions where players choose paths with different risk/reward tradeoffs.
- Boss levels.
- More wagons and more upgrade possibilities.
- More elaborate versus mode with support for 4v4 matchmaking.
- Expanded online capabilities such as session transferring.
- Map editor with community sharable maps.
- Customizable characters.
As the game is planned as Early Access title, it is likely that the game will evolve with more features based on the community feedback.
