The game of unrailed has five distinct biomes to play in endless.Each has their own unique attributes that make the gameplay unique. To progress to each stage you will have to collect 4 bolts to be able to purchase a new engine.

Distinct biomes

Grassland:

- Brown is the iron, black is unbreakable, go around 

- Trees for wood

-Cows are available

-Bandits in suits will steal resources

- Waterfall and lakes for water ( ducks in water)

- Build bridges with wood on water

Desert/Wild West: 

-Cactus and Palm trees for wood 

- Iron is brown, black unbreakable

- Ponds for water ( flamingos in water)

- Camels available( if milked will give extra capabilities to carry more supplies )

- Cowboy bandits will steal resources

Snow/Ice

Snow covered ( hard to see difference between black and brown rocks), will walk slower in snow, use water bucket to counteract ( if one player carries the water bucket ahead and clears the path, they will be able to walk normal speed) 

- Penguins in ice lakes

- Walruses

- Pine trees for wood 

- Yeti will jump and make you drop things  

- Can't dash on yeti tracks 

Lava/Halloween: 

- Wood from dead trees or pumpkins

-Water from the steam vents

- Must use iron to build bridge on lava

-There will be times where there are random earthquakes and the screen will shake then tilt or be turned upside down

- Ghosts are present 

Space:

Now you can fly anywhere but only limited to certain amoutn of time outside the air bubble, 

-Water bucket is not needed to cool down the engine but will be used as a movable bubble area

-Bridges must be built with iron 

- Trees are blue or teal

- Metoers will destroy tracks ahead if not bubbled

- Light gry is iron , dark grey is unminable
